Jack and the Beanstalk

This scene takes the form of a local village where Jack and his mother live. Students can explore Jack and his mother’s house to learn about Jack’s childhood and learn of Daisy at the bottom of their garden in the cow shed. In addition to this, students can climb up the beanstalk and walk inside the giants castle to discover the hen that lays golden eggs!

# Jack’s house and garden{.objective .objective1}

Jack and his mother live in a wooden house and are struggling to buy food. Your students will be encouraged to find clues relating to Jack’s childhood.

# The Beanstalk{.objective .objective2}

Jack’s mother tells him to take their cow, daisy, to the market to be sold so they can have money to eat food and fill their cupboards at home. Daisy is sold and Jack is given magic beans. Students will explore why Jack’s mother asked Jack to sell Daisy.

# The Giants Castle{.objective .objective3}

Inside the Giants castle there is a harp that plays beautiful music and a hen that lays golden eggs. Jack steals the hen that lays the golden eggs and the giant chases Jack down the Beanstalk. Students can enter the scene to explore the giants castle and to find the hen that lays golden eggs.
