Robert Walton and his crew are trapped in ice when they see the pale, unwell Victor Frankenstein and take him on board to recover, where he tells them his story. Students are asked to enter the scene and explore this isolated and dangerous environment.

Victor Frankenstein was determined to push the boundaries of human knowledge. Students are encouraged to explore Frankenstein’s laboratory, thinking about the character and his ambitions.

# Victor Frankenstein and his Monster{.objective .objective3}

An explanation of the relationship between Victor Frankenstein and his monster. Students should consider the relationship between Frankenstein and his Monster and how it changes through the course of the novel.

# A Horror Story{.objective .objective4}

Frankenstein is considered a horror story (as well as an example of science-fiction). Students are asked to explore the graveyard area, reflecting on how the Monster is created.
