The scene lets students explore a section of the Blue Mountains, specifically the Mount Solitary
area and Jamison Valley. Using the topography of the mountain, this realistic reconstruction allows users to experience the real environment and climate of the area and learn about the Blue Mountains, and the wildlife within it.

# The Geology{.objective .objective1}
Students will learn about the geographical characteristics of the Blue Mountains, its range, and the geological makeup of the area. Students will be asked to explore the scene and describe what makes the Blue Mountains a mountain range.
# The Climate{.objective .objective2}
Students will investigate the general climate of the Blue Mountains. They will learn about the typical seasonal weather, temperature, and general climate across the range. Students will learn about the type of forests present in the Blue Mountains and how they are responsible for the blue haze that gives the mountain range its name. Students will be asked to look for clues that show the blue haze. They will be asked to suggest why forests keep the climate stable within them.
# The Wildlife{.objective .objective3}
Students will examine the wildlife that lives within the Blue Mountain forests. They will learn about the species and some of their characteristics. Students will be asked to identify the animals within the scene. They will be asked to name them.
