This scene takes the form of an emotion room; an area students can go to regulate their emotions and practice self-care. The room is designed to provide a supportive and peaceful environment that allows students to decompress and manage their feelings in a healthy way.
**Lesson Objectives**
1: Be able to recognise different emotions.
2: Be able to practice self-care.
3: Be able to manage feelings in a healthy way.
L.O.1 – Students can explore the scene and learn about the following emotions: calm, happy, angry, anxious, sad, and scared.
L.O.2 – Students can be directed to each room and look out for key items that represent each emotion.
L.O.3 – Students can see a calm room in the middle of the scene filled with items to help them feel at ease.
