**Lesson Objectives**
1. Be able identify the parts of the sun.
2. Be able to describe the properties of the different parts of the sun.
L.O. 1 – Draw students' attention to the model of the sun. The model can be interacted with, and different parts moved.
L.O. 2 – Group discussions should take place to discuss the properties of the different parts of the sun. The parts that can be removed from the model. Students should learn that the surface of the sun radiates energy that reaches earth.
