Also on display is the Apollo-Soyuz Docking Module used as a training device by the Soviet and American Apollo-Soyuz crews at this same NASA site. The Apollo-Soyuz mission resulted in a mid-orbit handshake between the two nations, softening Cold War relations and formally ending the space race.
