Description

Mt. Yasur is one of the most active Strombolian volcanoes in the world. It is situated on Tanna, one of the southern islands of the Vanuatu archipelago in the South Pacific. For at least 700 years the volcano has blown lava fountains from its five vents with loud explosions and hissing every few minutes.
