Description

Massospondylus lived 200‒185 Ma in the South Africa territory. The length of the animal was 4‒6 meters and it was herbivorous. The weight did not exceed 140 kg. The walk was probably partly bipedal. Arms were smaller, the long neck possessed a relatively smaller head and the tail was long and thin. In this genus, the oldest known embryos (190 Ma) were recorded.
