Description

Czekanowskia is used for elongated, highly dissected leaves, with a single vein that enters the base and dichotomizes several times before reaching the leaf margin. The foliage extends from the Late Triassic into the Cretaceous. Leptostrobus cancer represents 5 mm long, flattened, globose, bivalved capsules, which are helically attached to the axis at regular intervals of 5 mm and are usually associated with foliage of Czekanowskia.
