Description

Dakosaurus is one of a medium-sized or larger crocodilemorph marine reptiles. The animal's length was almost 5 metres. Skull is massive and relatively short, with conical and serrated teeth at margins. Shorter limbs are fin-like shaped, the tail is transformed into the caudal fin. Dakosaurus is known from Europe, and both South and North America.
