Description

The kitchen salt (sodium chloride, NaCl) dissolves in aqueous solution to form a homogeneous solution mixture. Sodium Chloride is an ionic compound that consists of a large number of sodium cations and chloride anions. The anions and cations are gradually surrounded by aqueous polar molecules in the aqueous environment, thereby dissolving the salt in water.
