**Information:** Oleic acid is normally a pale yellow to brown liquid. It is the most widespread bigger fatty acid.

**Use:** It is used for printing inks and drying varnishes.

**Appearance:** It occurs in the form of an ester with glycerol primarily in liquid vegetable oils (olive, linseed, rapeseed).
