Description

A triclinic crystal system is characterized by three axes (a, b, c) of unequal length, where no axis is at right angles (90°) perpendicular to another (angles – α, β, γ). The triclinic lattice shows the least symmetry. Mineral examples include e.g., chalcanthite, hilgardite, plagioclase, microcline and wollastonite.
