**Info:** Wavellite is hydrated aluminum phosphate with F and OH group. It is white, grey, green, blue, yellow and colourless, vitreous to pearly shiny, translucent to opaque. Most often wavellite forms star-rayed to hemispherical aggregates built by thin needles. Less often it forms integral units, coatings and bark. It usually can be found in the cracks of sedimentary rocks rich in aluminum and phosphorus during the process of hardening.
