# Growing Food for the Masses
Explore the open fields of the world to discover how farming produces the food we eat. Through immersion and observations, students can develop an understanding of how farmers use arable land to grow crops, and how climate impacts crop yields.
## Key Learning Outcomes:
1. Correctly describe farming as a means of producing food
2. Present an overview that farming can produce food on a large scale
3. Present an understanding that hot and dry climates can reduce crop yield
